Responsibilities:

As the Senior Manager of the Blue Cross, Blue Shield, and PVU Collections, you will be responsible for:

• Timely collections of the expected reimbursement for inpatient and outpatient receivables for all UCLA Health hospitals


• Timely and accurate handling and management of Blue Shield Insurance Refunds


• Timely resolution of insurance credit balances


• Assuring full compliance with all State, Federal and contractual regulations for processing overpayments


• Managing and training a staff of approximately 18 including a supervisor, analysts, collection representatives and clerical support

We are seeking a self-directed, detail-oriented professional with:

• A Bachelor’s degree, preferred


• Minimum of 5 years Hospital Managed Care Collections Management experience


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with superb interpersonal skills are required


• PC literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
