JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Medical Assistant focuses on providing quality customer care and service that meets the standards of the company mission and goals

  The Medical Assistant obtains and records vital signs, collects pertinent patient information and rooms patients using electronic medical records
  
  


• 
  
  The Medical Assistant collects and prepares specimens for send-out to outside facility and instructs patients for home collection of in-house and send-out labs
  
  


• 
  
  Performs and assists physician with in-office procedures
  
  


• 
  
  Follows-up on send-out labs and obtains patient disposition
  
  


• 
  
  The Medical Assistant monitors, maintains, stocks and organizes medical supplies, medication samples, and non-clinical back office inventory
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year MA experience post Externship required


• MA or LVN certification required


• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
